Conor Coventry has been drafted into the Republic of Ireland squad for Sunday's final UEFA Nations League group match against England with Jason Knight unavailable through suspension.
Bristol City midfielder Knight started the Boys in Green's 1-0 win over Finland on Thursday but has been ruled out of the trip to Wembley through suspension after picking up a yellow card.
Charlton Athletic midfielder Coventry will take his place. He will train with the Ireland squad on Saturday before travelling to London with the squad.
A mainstay of the Ireland Under-21s between 2019 and 2022, the London-born 24-year-old has not yet been capped at senior level.
However, he was included in the Irish senior set-up as injury cover during the March 2021 window.
Coventry joined League One side Charlton in January on a three-and-a-half year deal after making a permanent move from boyhood club West Ham.
