The conclusion of the 2024 Premier Division title race reached a televised audience peak of over 400,000, becoming the most-watch moment in the history of the competition.
Harry Wood scored in the 85th to decide a hugely dramatic league season and give Shels their first league crown in 18 years.
The previous highest peak was 199,000 for the deciding game of the 2014 season when Dundalk defeated Cork City. The average on that occasion was 181,000.
The final match of this year will be broadcast on Sunday as Derry City take on Drogheda United in the FAI Cup final.
