Evan Ferguson looks set to be plying his trade away from Brighton in the new year as the Premier League outfit have indicated that he is available for a loan move.
The young Ireland striker signed a long-term deal with the English south coast club last year, however, he has been unable to break into the starting side on a regular basis since returning from injury earlier in the season.
Brighton appear keen to see the centre-forward playing regularly, which is not immediately evident at the American Express Stadium, as the Meath man sits down the pecking order in the attacking department.
Manager Fabian Hurzeler has placed Ferguson behind Danny Welbeck, Georginio Rutter and Joao Pedro this season, and as a result, Ferguson now looks set for a loan move to gain valuable playing experience, according to a report in the Telegraph.
Manchester United and Chelsea were previously reported to be interested in signing Ferguson, with Brighton valuing the striking prospect at £60m.
