The Waterford native was well off the pace after a disappointing opening round that saw Power a dozen shots of the first-round lead.

He played the first three holes of his second round on the Seaside Course, but withdrew at the fourth due to a back issue.
It brings to an end his 2024 season and Power must now wait to see if he remains in the FedEx Cup Fall Series top 60, thus securing a spot in the first two signature events of the 2025 season, the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and Genesis Invitational.
Meanwhile back on the course Patrick Fishburn shot a bogey-free 64 to grab the 36-hole lead.
Golfers are playing Sea Island Golf Club's two courses over the first two days of the tournament.
Fishburn followed a 67 at the par-70 Seaside Course with his 64 at the Plantation Course to get to 11-under par, one shot better than Maverick McNealy and Lee Hodges.
The players who make the cut will play both Saturday and Sunday at the Seaside Course.
