Comeragh Rangers are Waterford Ladies Football champions for the first time as they ended Ballymacarbry's incredible run of 42 titles in succession on Friday night.
The two sides were meeting in the final at Fraher Field for the 11th time in the last 12 years.
All the previous deciders had gone the way of the dominant Ballymacarbry who were seeking a 43rd triumph on the trot.
But Comeragh Rangers had different ideas and sealed a 5-03 to 1-06 victory to make history, with Katie Murray landing a sensational four-goal haul for the new county champions.
