All-Ireland winners from Clare and Limerick are among the 19 players named in the Ireland squad for the hurling/shinty international against Scotland on Saturday, 26 October.
The Banner's Aidan McCarthy and Shane Meehan - who lifted Liam MacCarthy in July - Limerick's Morrissey brothers, Dan and Tom, and Kilkenny's Eoin Cody fly the flag for their counties, 11 of which will be represented at Cusack Park in Ennis.
Laois goalkeeper Enda Rowland will captain the side for the longstanding tradition that brings Scottish and Irish talents together for a showcase of shinty and hurling skills, which will be live on the TG4 YouTube channel.
Rowland (Laois), Caolan Taggart (Down), Luca McCusker (Fermanagh), James Toher (Meath), Eoghan Cahill (Offaly) and Ben Conneely (Offaly) are the six players returning from last year's international, which Ireland won 0-22 to 2-08.
"We are delighted with our progress; we have a strong panel assembled," said Kilkenny's Michael Kavanagh, who is jointly managing the team with Terence 'Sambo' McNaughton of Antrim.
"It’s vital that we as an association maintain our traditions, and this event affords hurlers from all tiers the opportunity to play together.
"The players are all looking forward, as are all our management team to October 26th when we welcome the Scotland team to Páirc Uí Chíosóg."
